Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mathisen throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Krivanec shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mathisen defends it nicely.
Krivanec blocks a head kick by Mathisen.
Mathisen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Krivanec looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Krivanec shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Krivanec showed some decent athleticism there.

Mathisen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Krivanec on the ground.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Mathisen counters with a head kick. That will keep Krivanec thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Daniel Mathisen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miroslav Krivanec.

Krivanec has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mathisen uses from the top position.
