Wallace comes to the cage accompanied by Korn - Got the Life. Don Ratner has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Marsellus Wallace's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marsellus Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Don Ratner!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ratner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ratner looks to land a combination but Wallace avoids it well.
Wallace tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ratner swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ratner swinging wilding here.
Ratner ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Wallace uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ratner.
Ratner misses with a few strikes there.
Wallace has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ratner finds it's way round the side to connect with Wallace's head.


It looks like Marsellus Wallace has been cut.
Ratner lands a slapping body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ratner takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Ratner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ratner throws a right hand that Wallace ducks under and follows up with a left that Wallace also avoids with ease.
A combination from Ratner does no damage.
Wallace is looking to clinch but Ratner is avoiding it.
Wallace throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ratner looks to land a body kick but Wallace moved away.
Ratner throws a body punch but Wallace moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ratner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wallace is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ratner misses with a two punch combination.
Ratner takes a swing at Wallace's ribcage but misses.
Wallace uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ratner has time to react.
Wallace defending well as Ratner loads up on a big left hand.
Ratner throws out a loose jab but Wallace uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wallace misses with a jab, cross combination.
A nice combination there by Ratner.
Ratner throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ratner throws a jab when Wallace was well out of range.
Ratner has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wallace finds it's way round the side to connect with Ratner's head.
Don Ratner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Wallace.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Wallace trying to control the position but Ratner is working away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wallace creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ratner sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Ratner is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Ratner is trying to stand up here but Wallace is controlling him well.
Wallace passes to full mount!
Ratner tries to reverse the position but Wallace maintains control.
Ratner looks gassed!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wallace moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ratner has worked his arm free - good work by Ratner!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ratner tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Wallace easily slips into full mount!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wallace cracks Ratner with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Wallace raining down shots from the mount!
Ratner is in all sorts of trouble here.
Wallace with a couple of short strikes.


It looks like Don Ratner has been cut.
Ratner is in a horrible position here. Wallace smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Wallace has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Wallace lands a nice shot to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wallace content just to control the position here.
Ratner is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Ratner tries to improve his position but Wallace has taken his back! Wallace has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Ratner tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Wallace pushes Ratner away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Marsellus Wallace!
