Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Pattenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tre Calbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pattenson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, 4 my town. Calbert has chosen Here we Go as his entrance music. Tre Calbert has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Patrick Pattenson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tre Calbert! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Calbert shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Calbert thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Calbert connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
A nice elbow there by Calbert. BOOM! Calbert connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Pattenson is rocked! Pattenson tries to hold on but Calbert postures up. Oh Pattenson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Pattenson seems to have got his legs back now. Calbert really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pattenson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Calbert lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Pattenson tries to reverse the position but Calbert maintains control. Calbert scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Pattenson?
Pattenson tries to lock up and control but Calbert gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Pattenson is trying desperately to improve position. Calbert landing shots from mount. BOOM! Calbert connects with a massive shot to the dome!
That's one minute gone in the round. Calbert is landing with some decent strikes but Pattenson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Calbert landing shots from mount. Calbert lands a heavy elbow. Calbert landing strikes, looking to finish! Calbert is in the full mount, landing strikes. Pattenson wants to hold on but Calbert pushes him away. Pattenson is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Calbert with a couple of short strikes. Pattenson is breathing heavily. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Calbert cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Pattenson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Calbert landing strikes from the mount. Calbert raining down shots from the mount! Calbert avoids the attempt from Pattenson to control. Calbert punishing his opponent with strikes. Calbert working away from the top, dropping strikes. Pattenson bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Calbert keeping moving, preventing Pattenson from controlling successfully. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tre Calbert dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Calbert is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pattenson's half guard. Calbert throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Pattenson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Calbert is working away from the top position though. Calbert not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Tre Calbert has got the better of the ground game so far. Pattenson is trying to control but can't.
Pattenson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Calbert pulls his head out easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Calbert scoring with strikes to the body and head. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Calbert takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Calbert working the head and body with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Calbert looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pattenson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Calbert working the head and body with strikes. Nice strikes from Calbert there. Pattenson is trying to maintain the position but Calbert is very close to passing his half guard. Pattenson is looking to improve his position.
Pattenson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Pattenson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Calbert seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Pattenson trying to hold on to Calbert's head to control him but Calbert postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Calbert closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Calbert lands in his opponent's guard. Calbert working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Pattenson has his foot on Calbert's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Calbert works his way back into a safe position though. Calbert postures up and lands a big shot to Pattenson's brow. Pattenson is trying to control the position but Calbert postures up. Pattenson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Calbert defends it easily. Pattenson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Calbert can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Calbert with a nice head shot there. Pattenson has momentary wrist control but Calbert slips an elbow through the middle. Calbert working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Pattenson's head. Pattenson working a defensive guard here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Calbert shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pattenson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pattenson can't do much from the bottom here. Calbert creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Pattenson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Pattenson is trying to control Calbert's posture but Calbert avoids it. Calbert working the ground and pound. Calbert working away. Calbert lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Pattenson wants to control but Calbert postures up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Pattenson misses with a takedown and Calbert counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Pattenson! Calbert fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tre Calbert showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Pattenson misses with a takedown so Calbert counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Pattenson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Calbert has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pattenson is proving hard to escape from. Calbert landing some decent shots from guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Pattenson has his foot on Calbert's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Calbert works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Calbert stands up over Pattenson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Calbert makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Calbert is working Pattenson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Calbert postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Calbert with a flurry of punches that miss. Pattenson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Pattenson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Calbert defends well. Calbert got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pattenson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Calbert has managed to get both his arms back between Pattenson's legs - danger averted. Pattenson looking for a sweep. Not yet Pattenson, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Calbert with a nice head shot there. Calbert lands a couple of decent looking shots. Calbert makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Calbert throwing strikes from guard but Pattenson blocks nicely. Calbert scoring with some ground and pound. Calbert thows a big elbow that misses.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Calbert closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Pattenson gets back to half guard. Pattenson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Calbert connects with a nice short shot to Pattenson's temple.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pattenson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Pattenson is pressing down on Calbert's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Calbert must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Pattenson wants to sweep but no luck. Calbert postures up.
Calbert cracks Pattenson with a solid left hand. Calbert is looking to work some ground and pound but Pattenson has wrist control. Tre Calbert is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Pattenson pushes a forearm under Calbert's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Calbert is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
