Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Kline (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John J Rambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kline comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. Rambo has chosen 2 tribes go to war as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andy Kline! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John J Rambo! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Bruno Lombardi and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rambo throws a nice looking combination but Kline bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kline moves into range and clinches up with Rambo. Kline manages to break the clinch.
Kline shoots in but no luck this time. Kline ducks under a wild hook from Rambo. Rambo looks to land a combination but Kline avoids it well. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kline. Kline goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Kline uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rambo. Nice defenses there by Kline. No luck for Kline with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Kline. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rambo lands a really nice looking cross but Kline seems unphased.
It looks like Andy Kline has been cut. John J Rambo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice takedown defense from Rambo. No joy for Kline on that attempt. Rambo misses with a hook. Kline ducked under it nicely. Kline closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rambo wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Kline tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kline will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kline swings around for an armbar but Rambo sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kline's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rambo stands up from guard. Let's bang! A lazy left from Rambo finds it's target. Kline shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rambo sprawls well. Rambo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kline gets slowly back to his feet. Kline dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rambo. That did some damage! Kline lands a head kick!
Rambo drops Kline with a beautiful combination! Kline stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rambo is looking for the KO!
Kline is rocked! Kline is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rambo throws a big shot that misses. Kline shoots in for a double leg but Rambo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kline leaves his chin hanging out and Rambo seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Kline crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John J Rambo! John J Rambo retains his heavyweight title!
