Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Zamponi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jorge Zamponi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stan Savage! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savage fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Savage swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Savage throws a right and a left that both miss. Savage lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zamponi circles away quickly and effectively. Savage misses with a two punch combination.
Zamponi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Savage is fending him off so far but Zamponi persists. Nope, Savage circles away and we're back to standing. Savage throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Zamponi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Zamponi decides to stand back up. Zamponi steps back and let's Savage get back to his feet. Zamponi is breathing heavily. Savage looks to land a combination but Zamponi avoids it well. Savage misses with a double jab.
Savage avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Savage misses with a few strikes there.

Savage swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Savage throws a right and a left that Zamponi avoids nicely. Zamponi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Savage lands with a short head shot on the inside. Zamponi scores with a shot to the side of Savage's head. Savage manages to break the clinch.
Zamponi looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Savage wants to get back to his feet but Zamponi is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Zamponi stands and steps away. Savage gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. A head kick from Zamponi lands but Savage takes it in his stride. Savage misses with a series of wild punches.
Zamponi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Savage pinned against the cage. Savage gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Stan Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Savage showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Zamponi.
Savage looks to land a combination but Zamponi avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Savage throws a left and a right that both miss
and Zamponi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Savage won't be happy with that. Savage trying to remain calm as Zamponi controls from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zamponi scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Savage to see if he's OK. Zamponi advances to full mount. Savage is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Savage tries to buck Zamponi off but Zamponi takes his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Savage is trying to stand back up. Savage is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Will Zamponi go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Zamponi throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Zamponi trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Savage controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Savage wants to get back to his feet. He's half way up but Zamponi drags him back down with a jolt, managing to get his forearm deep under Savage 's chin! Savage is in real trouble! His face is turning bright red and he's forced to tap! This one is all over!
