Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bobby McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ultimate Warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby McGee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ultimate Warrior!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee shoots for a takedown but Warrior saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Warrior rushes McGee and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Warrior breaks from the clinch.
Warrior wants to slow McGee down by chopping away at his legs.
Warrior misses with a wild combination.

McGee scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Warrior is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McGee scores with a couple of nice shots.
McGee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Warrior does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Warrior is defending against the submission attempts here by McGee.
Warrior wants to get back to his feet.
McGee throwing shots but Warrior is blocking nicely.
Warrior is trying to stand.
McGee wants to pass the guard but Warrior is defending well.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Warrior tries to bum rush McGee with a series of wild strikes but McGee uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

McGee avoids the head kick by Warrior.
Good work by McGee as he checks the leg kick.
Warrior leaves McGee with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Warrior throws a right and a left that both miss.

McGee drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Warrior explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Warrior looks gassed!

McGee looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Warrior!
Warrior is trying to stand up.

McGee has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Warrior is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! McGee has taken his back!
McGee slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Warrior is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Warrior trying to get back to his feet but McGee is in full control for now.

Warrior is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Warrior is trying to get back to his feet but McGee has full control of the position and if anything, Warrior has just worked his way into a worse spot.

McGee looking to break Warrior's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Warrior remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise McGee will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Warrior is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
McGee connects with a big shot to the side of Warrior's head.

Warrior prevents McGee from getting a body triangle.

McGee is trying to get an arm triangle but Warrior is defending well.
McGee in side control, throwing shots but Warrior defends.
Warrior wants to get back to his feet.
McGee is looking to take a break and control but Warrior is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Warrior pushes McGee away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, McGee gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

McGee swings around for an armbar but Warrior sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into McGee's guard.

Warrior postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Warrior works over McGee with some ground and pound from guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Warrior misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Warrior misses with a double jab.

McGee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Warrior is trying to stand up here but McGee is controlling him well.

McGee decides to return to a standing position.
McGee looks to clinch
and Warrior counters with a left and a right that stings McGee.
McGee tries for a takedown but Warrior circles away easily

and Warrior counters by clinching up.
McGee goes for a takedown in the clinch but Warrior prevents it.

Warrior breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
McGee dodges the punch combination from Warrior.
Warrior is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Warrior gets caught flat footed, as McGee shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Warrior can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McGee controls the pace.
McGee thows a big elbow that misses.
Warrior wants to get back to his feet but McGee is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
McGee looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
McGee trying to control but Warrior is working from the bottom.

Warrior has his feet on McGee's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

McGee closes the distance and clinches up with Warrior, looking for a takedown. McGee pushes Warrior against the cage but Warrior circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby McGee. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Warrior throws a nice looking combination but McGee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

McGee has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Warrior avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

McGee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
McGee blocks a jab.
Ultimate Warrior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Warrior closes the distance but McGee moves to the side

and McGee counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Warrior can't keep his opponent in guard - McGee advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
McGee thows a huge punch but Warrior dodges it nicely.

McGee lands with a punch from half guard.

Warrior manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Warrior misses with a few strikes there.
McGee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Warrior tries to avoid it but McGee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Warrior to the ground. Warrior escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

McGee shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McGee seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

McGee is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Warrior pushes McGee off looking to stand but McGee dives back in and keeps control.

McGee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Warrior does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

McGee tries for a takedown but Warrior circles away easily
and Warrior counters with a two punch combo.

McGee gets a clinch.
McGee has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Warrior is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
McGee tries to score a body lock takedown but Warrior shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby McGee. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Warrior pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Warrior closes the distance and pushes McGee back into the cage.
McGee drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Warrior gets the underhooks and prevents it.

McGee drops down looking for an ankle pick but Warrior pulls his leg out and moves away.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Warrior doesn't manage to clinch there - McGee circles away.

Warrior rushes McGee and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Warrior breaks the clinch.
Warrior lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Warrior lands a head kick!
McGee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McGee wants it to stay on the feet.

McGee drives through with a takedown into guard.
Warrior has momentary wrist control but McGee slips an elbow through the middle.
McGee trying to control the position from guard on top but Warrior is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McGee stops Warrior from standing up.
McGee tries to free his leg and advance position but Warrior is retaining full guard.
McGee postures up in Warrior's guard and throws a big left but Warrior blocks it.

McGee wants to control from the top but Warrior keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
McGee shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

McGee gets a takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McGee trying to control the action but Warrior is working from the bottom.

McGee throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Warrior is trying to stand.

McGee is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Warrior doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McGee.

Well, if McGee is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Bobby McGee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Warrior is looking to escape.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Warrior blocks a leg kick.
McGee circles away from the clinch attempt

so McGee counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
McGee stays in close to Warrior's body and controls the position.

Warrior pushes McGee off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Ultimate Warrior has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

McGee pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McGee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Warrior fails in his attempt to clinch.
Warrior misses with a double jab

so McGee counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
McGee controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bobby McGee showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for McGee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
