The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barringer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gibson as he jumps to the side.

That was a close round but I would say that Jacky Gibson will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Gibson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Barringer swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Barringer pushes Gibson back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Gibson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Barringer.
Barringer has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gibson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
