The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts moves into range and clinches up with Croix.
Roberts tries to pull guard but Croix won't allow it.

Roberts walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Croix lands with a nice combination. Roberts backs away looking to recover.
Oh Roberts is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Croix lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Croix.

Roberts looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Croix, as that shot connected.

Croix stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Croix wants it to stay on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Roberts walks straight into a right hand from Croix - that's dropped him! Croix jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Roberts from any more punishment! Roberts complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
