Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Mills (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herbie Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawkins has chosen My Sacrifice as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmy Mills! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Herbie Hawkins! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mills blocks the body kick.
Hawkins scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Hawkins misses with a hook. Mills ducked under it nicely. Hawkins scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Hawkins does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Hawkins jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hawkins is looking to clinch but Mills is avoiding it.
Hawkins lands an overhand right. Mills lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hawkins misses with a hook. Mills slips under a jab from Hawkins. Hawkins uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Mills takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Mills tried to score with a low kick but Hawkins checks it. Hawkins scores with a leg kick.
Hawkins works Mills's body with a nice hook. Mills misses the jab. Mills misses with an uppercut. Hawkins tries to close the distance and clinch but Mills swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hawkins scores with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawkins throws a hook to the side of Mills's head but Mills sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hawkins closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hawkins lands in his opponent's guard. Hawkins has gone for a leg lock! Mills slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hawkins's guard. Hawkins is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mills wants to stand but Hawkins has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Hawkins managing to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawkins can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mills controls the pace. Mills working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Mills might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hawkins is working an open guard so Mills takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Mills throws a series of punches but Hawkins moves out of range. Hawkins lands a really nice looking cross but Mills seems unphased.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mills looks to land a right hand but Hawkins moved out of range. Hawkins cracks Mills with a good jab. No luck for Hawkins with that takedown attempt. Mills takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Mills throws a shot to the body.
Herbie Hawkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mills slips under a jab from Hawkins. Hawkins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mills pinned against the cage. Mills gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jimmy Mills is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mills misses with a body kick. Mills lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Hawkins doesn't manage to clinch there - Mills circles away.
Hawkins gets a clinch. Hawkins is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mills gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Jimmy Mills has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Herbie Hawkins. Mills wants to get back to striking at distance but Hawkins won't allow it.
Mills tries to circle away but Hawkins has him pinned against the cage. Hawkins breaks the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mills fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A big right from Mills misses. Mills drives through with a takedown into guard. Mills controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Hawkins keeping moving, preventing Mills from controlling successfully. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hawkins is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Herbie Hawkins will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Hawkins gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Mills cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Mills lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hawkins circles away quickly and effectively. Hawkins has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Mills looks to throw the jab but Hawkins is out of range. Mills slips under a jab. Horrible takedown by Hawkins or perhaps it was just good defense by Mills which made him look bad. Mills uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hawkins.

Hawkins fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jimmy Mills has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Herbie Hawkins. Hawkins shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mills makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Mills connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Mills misses with a wild combination.
Mills throws a jab when Hawkins was well out of range. Hawkins is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mills misses with a straight left. Mills steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hawkins. Hawkins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mills was well out of range. Poor timing from Hawkins. Hawkins throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Mills slips under a jab. Mills ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hawkins will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mills slips under a jab. Mills misses with an uppercut. Jimmy Mills is winning the standup battle so far. Mills throws a head kick that misses. Hawkins slips a straight right by Mills. Mills is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Hawkins uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Hawkins changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Hawkins wants to clinch up but Mills keeps it at a distance. Hawkins with a poor takedown and Mills counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mills sitting and controlling from the half guard. Mills uses his free foot to push down on Hawkins's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hawkins. Mills controlling the pace for now. Mills avoids the attempt from Hawkins to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mills content just to control the position here. Hawkins trying desperately to get to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hawkins wants to hold on but Mills pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mills controlling the position easily from mount. Mills looking to control but Hawkins is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Mills dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Mills tests Hawkins's chin there with a solid looking shot. Hawkins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mills throws out the jab. Hawkins connects with a nice looking jab.
Jimmy Mills is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hawkins on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Hawkins moves in looking to clinch but Mills pushes him off. A telegraphed right hand from Hawkins misses the target. Mills scores with a jab. Hawkins acknowledges it with a nod of the head. A looping hook to the body misses from Hawkins. Mills does a little dance to reset his feet. Mills connects with a crisp jab. A jab lands there for Mills. Mills throws a hook but Hawkins blocks it. A punch lands to the side of Hawkins 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hawkins is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mills avoids the body shot from Hawkins.
Hawkins is still on wobbly legs! Can Mills finish him? Hawkins drops his hands momentarily. Mills doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Hawkins staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Hawkins doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jimmy Mills!
