Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ettore Masiero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remy Hoost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoost tries to bum rush Masiero with a series of wild strikes but Masiero uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Remy Hoost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Masiero tries to keep at a distance but Hoost has taken the fight into the clinch.
Masiero wants to get back to striking at distance but Hoost won't allow it.
Masiero is trying to maintain a safe position but Hoost gets an underhook and turns Masiero into the cage.
Hoost pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Masiero attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Hoost changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Masiero looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Masiero's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That was a close round but I would say that Ettore Masiero will probably get the nod.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hoost crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Masiero - the referee stops the clock and Hoost gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Masiero. Hoost manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
