Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Taong Grasa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Don Quixote!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grasa closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Grasa lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Quixote regains half guard, as Grasa was trying to land strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grasa throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Grasa working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Quixote's thigh. Quixote counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Grasa is looking to advance position but Quixote has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Grasa stops Quixote from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Quixote can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Grasa is looking to escape.
Grasa on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Grasa tries to get out of the position.

Grasa tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Grasa is squirming around, avoiding Quixote's attempts to control the action.
Grasa squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Grasa is wriggling around trying to escape.
Quixote trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Quixote swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Grasa is now in Quixote's guard. A big mistake from Quixote there, giving up the dominant position!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Quixote is looking to stand up but Grasa isn't so interested in that idea.
Grasa throws a big right hand that misses.
Quixote wants to stand and escape but Grasa is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Quixote bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Grasa's guard.
Quixote tries to free his leg and advance position but Grasa is retaining full guard.

Quixote drops back, looking for a kneebar! Grasa looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Grasa looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Grasa!
Quixote looks gassed!
Grasa fails to land a wild elbow strike.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Quixote takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Grasa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Quixote on the ground.
Grasa creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Grasa lands a nice forearm strike.
Grasa working the head with strikes.
Check out the look on Grasa's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Quixote manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Quixote is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Grasa is trying to get back to full guard.
Grasa is looking to control Quixote's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Grasa avoid being mounted?

Quixote maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Grasa could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Quixote has cracked it and Grasa is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Quixote!
