Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Sherlock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trace Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trace Wilkins has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mark Sherlock's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark Sherlock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trace Wilkins! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilkins fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sherlock avoids it really well and circles away. Sherlock decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Sherlock prevents Wilkins from improving his position. Sherlock is trying to control. Wilkins wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Sherlock trying to control the pace. Sherlock wants to take a breather but Wilkins is having none of it. Sherlock thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Wilkins to regain full guard. Wilkins is looking to stand up but Sherlock isn't so interested in that idea. Wilkins manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's one minute gone in the round. Wilkins looking to control but Sherlock is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sherlock tries to buck Wilkins off but Wilkins takes his back! Wilkins is looking for the choke from the back position but Sherlock is controlling his hands well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sherlock is keeping busy.

Wilkins controlling the position well here. Sherlock rolled but Wilkins kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Wilkins controlling the positon.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sherlock tries to escape but Wilkins has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Sherlock trying to control the position but Wilkins manages to sink in the hooks. Sherlock wants to get back to his feet. Wilkins throwing sloppy strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. A lull in the action here.
Wilkins has good solid back control here. Wilkins is looking to control Sherlock but Sherlock is wriggling around and keeping busy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wilkins has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Sherlock's body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Trace Wilkins will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Wilkins shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sherlock napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Despite being in the dominant position, Trace Wilkins just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wilkins misses with a two punch combination.
Sherlock closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Wilkins keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Sherlock's efforts to push away. Sherlock wants to get back to striking at distance but Wilkins won't allow it.
Wilkins tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Wilkins escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sherlock lands with a nice body punch. Wilkins shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sherlock as he jumps to the side. Mark Sherlock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trace Wilkins. Sherlock scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Trace Wilkins has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sherlock throws a combination. Wilkins tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Sherlock's corner calls for a 1-2. Sherlock obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Mark Sherlock is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wilkins is breathing heavily. Wilkins seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Sherlock shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Wilkins is backing up but Sherlock catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Wilkins covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Sherlock Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Sherlock!
