Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Carlos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan Lank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos comes to the cage accompanied by Negro Drama. Lank comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Night kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ethan Lank! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lank drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carlos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lank can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Carlos looking for a guillotine here but Lank defends easily.
Lank really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carlos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Carlos working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lank doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lank's corner is telling him to maintain position. Lank is looking to stand up but Carlos won't let him. Carlos doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Lank stands and steps away. Carlos gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Carlos looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lank has picked Carlos up and slammed him! Carlos can't keep hold of the triangle and Lank manages to pass to side control! Lank just content to control the position. Lank stands up and beckons Carlos to his feet. Lank misses with a straight right. Lank looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Carlos! Lank looking for a guillotine from mount but Carlos is having none of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lank wants to finish this one by submission but Carlos is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lank. Carlos is looking to get to half guard. Carlos is working hard here to advance position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lank is standing up, even though he is in mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like Robbie Carlos has been cut. Lank scores with a takedown into Carlos's guard. Carlos keeping moving, preventing Lank from controlling successfully. Ethan Lank has got the better of the ground game so far. Lank controlling from the top position. Carlos looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Carlos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Carlos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lank swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ethan Lank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Carlos stuffs the takedown attempt from Lank. Lank gets slowly back to his feet. Lank misses with a few strikes there.

Lank thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Carlos has his foot on Lank's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lank works his way back into a safe position though. Lank decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Carlos throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Lank controls the position. Lank decides to stand back up. Lank changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Carlos looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Lank tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lank has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Carlos manages to work his way to half guard, despite Lank's best efforts. Carlos looking for submissions off his back. Lank stalling.

And that's the end of the fight! Ethan Lank comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lank has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
