Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Greg Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greg Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martin Rodriguez!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Miller fails with the takedown.
Greg Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miller throws a push kick but Rodriguez slaps the foot to one side.
Miller throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rodriguez's waist but Rodriguez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Miller off to one side.
Miller fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Greg Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rodriguez.

Rodriguez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Miller to the mat! Miller manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rodriguez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Rodriguez trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Miller is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Miller is breathing heavily.
Rodriguez is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Rodriguez postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Rodriguez trying to control but Miller is working from the bottom.
Rodriguez keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Miller's head.

Rodriguez wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving.
Rodriguez trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rodriguez shoots in but Miller avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rodriguez lands a nice looking kick to the body. Miller takes a step back to recover.
Miller shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Rodriguez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Rodriguez stays in close to Miller's body and controls the position.

Miller looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Miller throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Rodriguez is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Miller has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Rodriguez is looking to defend but Miller has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Rodriguez! Miller pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Rodriguez taps out and this one is all over!
