Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jagger Cyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dallas Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Cyde.
Carter takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Cyde throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Carter's waist but Carter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cyde off to one side.
Cyde scoring well with a low kick there.

Carter walks forward, straight into a front kick from Cyde.
Cyde misses with a wild combination.

and Cyde counters with a slapping leg kick.
Carter drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Cyde throws a body punch but Carter moves out of range.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Carter gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

enabling Cyde to counter with a crisp jab.

and Cyde makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

That was a close round but I would say that Jagger Cyde will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Carter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cyde tries to avoid it but Carter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cyde to the ground. Cyde escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Carter closes the distance and clinches up with Cyde, looking for a takedown. Carter pushes Cyde against the cage but Cyde circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Carter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cyde tries to avoid it but Carter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cyde to the ground. Cyde escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cyde, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
