PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abu Khalid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Colon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abu Khalid!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Colon!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Khalid.
Khalid tries to close the distance and clinch but Colon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Khalid lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Abu Khalid will probably get the nod.
