Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Amadeo Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams has chosen remember the name as his entrance music. Amadeo Diaz has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Amadeo Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Williams! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz throws a right and a left that both miss. Diaz fails with a takedown attempt. Williams slips a jab from Diaz. Diaz is looking to clinch. Williams leaves Diaz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Diaz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Williams circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amadeo Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Diaz throws a nice looking combination but Williams bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams stuffs the takedown. Diaz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Williams as he avoids it easily. Diaz is breathing heavily. Williams shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Williams stands up from half guard. Diaz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Diaz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Williams is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Diaz's shoulder. That is not cool. Williams's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Diaz is trying to work for a sweep but Williams has mounted him!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz is trying to escape the mount.

Williams looking to control and managing it successfully. Diaz tries to hold on but Williams pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Williams takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Diaz tries to hold on but Williams pushes him away. Williams looking to control and managing it successfully. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Williams dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Williams shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Diaz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Williams's guard. Diaz stays in close to Williams's body and controls the position. Williams pulls Diaz in to control the position. Williams looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Diaz would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams keeping moving, preventing Diaz from controlling successfully. Diaz looking to pass the guard. Diaz wants to stand and escape but instead Williams has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Diaz tries to land a sweep but no joy. Diaz striking off his back but it's not causing Williams any problems. Diaz working a defensive guard here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Diaz doesn't succeed with the takedown and Williams counters with a nice double leg into side control. Diaz won't be happy with that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams gets to mount! Diaz was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Williams prevents Diaz from getting the reversal. Williams avoids the attempt from Diaz to control. Diaz is desperately trying to improve his position but Williams has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Williams takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Diaz wants to control but Williams is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jason Williams will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Diaz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Diaz shoots and misses and Williams counters with a nice double leg into side control. Diaz won't be happy with that. Diaz tries to bench press Williams off him but Williams keeps the position. Williams is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Diaz will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Diaz is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Diaz is trying to maintain the position but Williams is very close to passing his half guard. Diaz is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Williams's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Williams's back! Williams breaks Diaz's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Williams slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Diaz is trying to control the position but Williams postures up. Jason Williams has got the better of the ground game so far. Diaz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Williams is aware though and is defending well. Williams slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams stops Diaz from standing up. Diaz controlling the position. Williams won't allow Diaz to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Williams stops Diaz from standing up. Williams stopping the sweep attempt from Diaz. Williams is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Williams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
