Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luke Paulister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Tuna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Doug Tuna was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paulister looks to land a combination. Tuna sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Doug Tuna has been cut.
Paulister shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Paulister bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Tuna's head.
Paulister attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Tuna shoots in for a takedown but Paulister shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Paulister throws a low kick but it's checked well by Tuna.
Tuna scores with a takedown into Paulister's guard.
Tuna distracts Paulister with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Tuna postures up in Paulister's guard and throws a big left but Paulister blocks it.
Paulister wants to sweep but no luck.
Paulister wants to get back to his feet but Tuna is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Tuna connects with a couple of short punches.
Tuna prevents Paulister from getting back to his feet.
Tuna is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Paulister is looking to stand up but Tuna isn't so interested in that idea.
Paulister is trying to control the position but Tuna postures up.
Tuna distracts Paulister with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Tuna with a flurry of punches that miss.
Tuna landing some decent shots from guard.

Paulister has momentary wrist control but Tuna slips an elbow through the middle.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Tuna.
Tuna connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Paulister some visible discomfort.
Tuna looks up at the clock and then as Paulister takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Tuna smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Paulister is trying to get back to his feet.
Paulister tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tuna wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Paulister can't do much from the bottom here.
Tuna working the ground and pound but Paulister is defending the strikes.
Tuna grinds an elbow into Paulister's temple.
Tuna looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Paulister is avoiding damage well.

Paulister is pushing Tuna's head away, looking to escape. Tuna manages to hold on to the position though.

Tuna is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Paulister's shoulder. That is not cool.
Tuna looks up at the clock and then as Paulister takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Tuna smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Paulister pushes Tuna away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Tuna gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Tuna in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Paulister tries to escape but Tuna is in control.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The ground and pound from Tuna seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Paulister wants to get back to his feet but Tuna drags him back down.
Paulister is breathing heavily.

Tuna sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Paulister is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Tuna tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Paulister takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Paulister is rocked!
Tuna is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Paulister will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Tuna wants to lay and pray for a moment but Paulister keeps working.

Tuna is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Paulister wants to get back to his feet but Tuna drags him back down.

Oh Paulister is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big shot lands for Tuna! That's hurt Paulister! Will he recover? Tuna fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
