The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goroteski misses with an attempted mid kick.
Goroteski scores with a nice strike.
Perex keeps the fight on the outside.
Goroteski misses with a few strikes there.
Goroteski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Goroteski throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hugo Goroteski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Goroteski keeps control of Perex as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Perex breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Goroteski lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Perex throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Goroteski stumbling backwards into the cage! Goroteski bounces back off the cage towards Perex, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Perex lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Perex celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
