The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maniche has closed the distance and engaged Gracie in a clinch.

Maniche breaks from the clinch.
Gracie slips a jab and a cross from Maniche.
Maniche with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Gracie looks for a takedown but Maniche sprawls well.

Maniche drives through and clinches with Gracie against the cage.

Maniche pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Maniche scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Gracie on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gracie misses with a straight right.
Gracie fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Maniche stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Maniche wants it to stay on the feet.

Maniche goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Maniche stalks Gracie and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gracie's face. Gracie staggers backwards, shaken.
Maniche swinging wildly here.
Maniche lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Maniche.

Gracie is rocked!
Gracie dodges the punch combination from Maniche.
Maniche throws a series of strikes that have Gracie backpedaling.

Gracie seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Maniche shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Gracie is backing up but Maniche catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Gracie covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Maniche Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
