Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between George McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akiro Daimaou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daimaou has chosen WCW - The Four Horsemen as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daimaou closes the distance and clinches up with McGregor, looking for a takedown. Daimaou pushes McGregor against the cage but McGregor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Daimaou is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in McGregor's half guard.
Daimaou is taking a breather. McGregor says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
McGregor is trying to stand up here but Daimaou is controlling him well.
Daimaou is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
McGregor has a closed guard, preventing Daimaou from standing up.
Daimaou stands up and waves to McGregor to follow him.
Daimaou will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
McGregor slaps away a takedown attempt from Daimaou, before circling back to the center of the mat.
George McGregor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akiro Daimaou.
Daimaou keeps the fight on the outside.
McGregor lands with a nice body kick.
Daimaou looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McGregor lands a nice hook to Daimaou's body. Daimaou takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
McGregor moves in looking to clinch but Daimaou pushes him off.
McGregor lands a high kick!
That's one minute gone in the round.
McGregor lands a big right hand that sends Daimaou crashing to the mat! McGregor stays standing though and waves Daimaou back to his feet!
McGregor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Daimaou moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McGregor throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Daimaou crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). George McGregor!
George McGregor is the new heavyweight champion!
