Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Raiser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smaash Destroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tony Raiser could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Smaash Destroy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tony Raiser!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Smaash Destroy!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raiser circles away from the clinch attempt.
Raiser changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Destroy tries to avoid it but Raiser manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Destroy to the ground. Destroy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Destroy connects with a body shot.
Raiser misses with a body kick.

Raiser moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Destroy has worked his arm free - good work by Destroy!
Raiser throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Destroy works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Raiser postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Destroy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Raiser, into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Raiser working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Destroy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Destroy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Horrible takedown by Raiser or perhaps it was just good defense by Destroy which made him look bad.

That was a close round but I would say that Tony Raiser will probably get the nod.

Destroy takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Raiser remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Raiser goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Destroy rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Raiser's guard! Nice work there by Destroy!
Raiser manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Destroy manages to get himself to full guard.

Destroy tries to kick Raiser off but Raiser keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Raiser is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Destroy is just riding it out for now. Raiser eventually gives up the hold.

Destroy tries to bum rush Raiser with a series of wild strikes but Raiser uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Raiser is defended easily by Destroy.
Raiser throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Destroy's waist but Destroy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Raiser off to one side.

Destroy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Destroy wants it to stay on the feet.
Raiser closes the distance and clinches up with Destroy, looking for a takedown. Raiser pushes Destroy against the cage but Destroy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Raiser, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
