Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cris Dorh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matheus Buckner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dorh might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Heaven & Hell. Buckner is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Stand Your Ground And Fight - Acarine (GSE). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cris Dorh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matheus Buckner! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Buckner.
Buckner lands with a nice combination. Dorh backs away looking to recover. Buckner tries to bum rush Dorh with a series of wild strikes but Dorh uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dorh slips a jab and a cross from Buckner.
Buckner moves into the clinch successfully.
Dorh fails to pull guard.
Dorh tries for a takedown but Buckner manages to get underhooks.
Dorh has Buckner pressed against the cage, preventing Buckner from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Buckner is looking to break free of the clinch but Dorh has double underhooks. Buckner is trying to break the clinch but Dorh has him pressed against the cage. Buckner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dorh shoots in for a takedown but Buckner shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cris Dorh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Buckner misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Matheus Buckner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Danga de danga de dang - Buckner scores with a four punch combination! Dorh showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Buckner.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dorh.
That's one minute gone in the round. A right-left combo lands from Buckner. Buckner throws a series of strikes that have Dorh backpedaling.
Buckner connects with a right hand. Dorh shakes it off. Buckner throws a right hand that Dorh ducks under and follows up with a left that Dorh also avoids with ease. Dorh takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Dorh closes the distance and clinches up with Buckner, looking for a takedown. Dorh pushes Buckner against the cage but Buckner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dorh is looking to clinch but Buckner is avoiding it.
Buckner throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Buckner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dorh was well out of range. Poor timing from Buckner. A punch combination from Buckner misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dorh closes the distance and clinches up with Buckner, looking for a takedown. Dorh pushes Buckner against the cage but Buckner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dorh dodges the punch combination from Buckner.
Dorh wants to clinch up but Buckner keeps it at a distance. Buckner throws a right hand that Dorh ducks under and follows up with a left that Dorh also avoids with ease. Dorh fails with a takedown attempt. Buckner has managed to clinch.

Buckner fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Buckner clinches with his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dorh looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Dorh drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Buckner gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Dorh tries to score a body lock takedown but Buckner shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Dorh is trying to drag Buckner to the mat but Buckner just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Buckner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Buckner misses with a wild combination.
Buckner throws a series of punches but Dorh moves out of range. Dorh on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Buckner misses with a straight right. Buckner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dorh circles away quickly and effectively. Dorh shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Buckner as he avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice combination there by Buckner.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Dorh. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Buckner works the jab nicely. A looping hook to the body misses from Buckner. Dorh does a little dance to reset his feet. Buckner throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dorh stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Buckner connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Buckner scores with a jab to the jaw. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Buckner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Buckner misses with a straight right. Buckner lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Dorh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Buckner throws out the jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matheus Buckner dominated that round. That's time! Dorh's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Dorh throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Buckner's waist but Buckner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dorh off to one side. Buckner throws a series of punches but Dorh moves out of range. The fighters circle momentarily. Buckner darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Dorh closes the distance but Buckner moves to the side and Buckner makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. A combination from Buckner does no damage. Dorh fails with the takedown and Buckner counters with a one-two to the body. Dorh fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cris Dorh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Buckner looks to land a combination but Dorh avoids it well. Buckner misses with a few strikes there.

Dorh's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Dorh duly obliges. Dorh shoots in but no luck this time. A combination from Buckner does no damage. Dorh shoots and misses and Buckner counters with a series of strikes. Dorh will be more careful next time no doubt. Buckner misses with the combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buckner with a body punch. A glancing blow. Dorh looks to clinch and Dorh takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Dorh fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Buckner avoids it really well and circles away. Buckner misses with a combination
and Dorh counters with a takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dorh has hold of Buckner's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Buckner seems comfortable defending it but Dorh has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Buckner is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Buckner is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Dorh couldn't care less - he's delighted!
