Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max House (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
House doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.

and House counters with a single leg into guard. Silva didn't expect that.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
House wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with House. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

House drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and House jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

House drops back looking for a leg! Silva is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Silva manages to kick House off! House jumps back into Silva's guard.

House has gone for a leg lock! Silva slips out almost immediately though and dives into House's guard.

House is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Silva wants to stand but House has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

House working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Silva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Silva is posturing up here but House has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Silva tries to roll out but it's too tight and Silva has to tap! Slick submission there by House!
