Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Buhawi Baracael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kira Yamato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!On his way into the ring it seems that Buhawi Baracael has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Buhawi Baracael seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Buhawi Baracael! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kira Yamato! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Yamato misses its intended target. Yamato fails in his attempt to clinch. Baracael shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Yamato is trying to defend but Baracael finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Baracael wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yamato keeps working. Yamato wants to get back to his feet. Baracael is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Yamato throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Baracael ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Baracael is looking to land body kicks. Baracael shoots in for a double leg but Yamato sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Baracael uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Yamato. Baracael shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Yamato as he avoids it easily. Yamato tries to clinch there but Baracael circles away.
Baracael uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Yamato. Yamato misses with a straight right. The fight stays on the outside here - Yamato looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Yamato looks to land a right hand but Baracael moved out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A jab from Yamato misses. A jab from Yamato finds it's way through Baracael's defenses. Baracael plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Yamato jabbing away but nothing is landing. Baracael forces Yamato back against the ropes and clinches. Baracael misses with a body punch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Yamato scores with a shoulder strike. Baracael pulls guard effortlessly. Baracael tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Yamato stands up and waves to Baracael to follow him. Yamato throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Yamato throws a hook but Baracael blocks it. Baracael slips a jab from Yamato. Yamato rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Baracael moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A swing and a miss from Yamato.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Yamato tries to clinch and Baracael counters with a takedown into side control. Baracael prevents Yamato from escaping the position. Yamato looks gassed! Yamato is not content to let Baracael control the position. Baracael has hold of Yamato's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Yamato tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Baracael cranks the arm and Yamato screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Yamato, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Buhawi Baracael!
