Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sammook Polman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Cockx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Polman comes to the ring accompanied by Dying Fetus - One Shot One Kill. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sammook Polman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Scott Cockx! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cockx tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Polman paws at him with a jab and circles away. Cockx tries a head kick but it misses.
Cockx throws a low kick but it's checked well by Polman. Polman swats away the attempt to clinch by Cockx. Polman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cockx. Cockx misses with a few strikes there.
Cockx looks to land a combination but Polman avoids it well. Cockx tries a head kick but it misses.
Cockx shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Polman defends it nicely. Polman moves out of range of the strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. An inside leg kick from Cockx misses. Polman checks the leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cockx.
Cockx throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. The fight stays on the outside here - Cockx looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Cockx fails in his attempt to clinch. Cockx shoots in for a takedown but Polman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Cockx throws a head kick that misses. It looks like Scott Cockx has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cockx misses with a straight right. Polman keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cockx. Polman lands with a straight right. Cockx didn't see that one coming. Cockx throws a sloppy head kick and Polman makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Cockx really felt that one! Cockx looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cockx throws a lazy head kick and Polman counters with a head kick that drops Cockx to the mat! Cockx scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Cockx is rocked! Polman lands an uppercut, right on the button! Cockx tumbles backwards into the ropes, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sammook Polman!
