Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Burbank Bulldog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Leroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bulldog comes into the arena with British Bulldog blaring out of the sound system. Leroy has chosen Lunatic Fringe as his entrance music. Burbank Bulldog could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Bruce Leroy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Burbank Bulldog! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruce Leroy! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bulldog will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bulldog looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Leroy misses with a takedown attempt and Bulldog counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Leroy's guard now. Bulldog with a nice head shot there. Bulldog thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bulldog throwing strikes but missing. Bulldog trying to control the position from guard on top but Leroy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Leroy thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Leroy keeping moving, preventing Bulldog from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bulldog drops back looking for a leg! Leroy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Leroy manages to kick Bulldog off! Bulldog jumps back into Leroy's guard. Bulldog postures up in Leroy's guard and throws a big left but Leroy blocks it. Bulldog gets to his feet - Leroy follows without any prompting. Leroy throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bulldog's head. Leroy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bulldog decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bulldog lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Bulldog trying to control the action but Leroy is working from the bottom. Bulldog is working for a kimura but Leroy is defending it quite comfortably.
Bulldog in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Leroy tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Bulldog!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Burbank Bulldog!
