Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Beerkiller Razmax! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Richard Sharpe! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Sharpe misses. Sharpe throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Razmax sees it coming and avoids it easily. Razmax is looking to clinch but Sharpe is avoiding it.
Sharpe misses with a hook. Razmax ducked under it nicely. Sharpe takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Richard Sharpe has been cut. Razmax tries to close the distance and clinch but Sharpe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sharpe closes the distance looking to clinch and Razmax counters with a nice leg kick. Sharpe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Razmax swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sharpe wants to clinch up but Razmax keeps it at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Razmax throws a nice head kick!
Sharpe wants to clinch and Razmax counters with a head kick that drops Sharpe to the mat! Sharpe scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Sharpe is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sharpe tries to close the distance and clinch but Razmax swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sharpe circles away from the clinch attempt and Sharpe counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Sharpe perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sharpe lands with a punch from half guard. Sharpe stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Razmax to get to his feet. Sharpe fails with an attempt to clinch.
Razmax throws a sloppy head kick and Sharpe counters by moving into the clinch. Sharpe pulls Razmax into guard.
Sharpe lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Razmax! Razmax wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sharpe looking to secure an arm triangle but Razmax defends it well. Sharpe controlling the pace for now. Sharpe lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The referee warns Razmax that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sharpe with good strikes from the mount here! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sharpe connects with a bit shot that sees Razmax covering up! More strikes from Sharpe and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Sharpe is our winner by TKO!
