The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daytona walks into a straight right hand from Damon.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Damon and Daytona goes tumbling to the canvas! Damon follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Daytona is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Daytona wants to get back to full guard.
Daytona is staying active underneath Damon, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Damon thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Daytona's head.
Damon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Daytona keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Daytona desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Damon thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Daytona is not content to let Damon control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Damon cracks Daytona with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Damon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Damon misses with a hook.
Damon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Damon lands with a nice body punch.
Damon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Damon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Daytona uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Damon.
Damon stalks Daytona and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Daytona's face. Daytona staggers backwards, shaken.
Damon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Daytona circles away quickly and effectively.
Damon lands with a right and another and another! Daytona is in big trouble! Damon lands again and this time it's lights out for Daytona! A quality knockout there for Damon.
