Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, BA Barracus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rado ADW! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barracus has taken the fight to the clinch.
Barracus has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. ADW is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. ADW drags the fight down to the ground.
Barracus is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Barracus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. ADW is keeping the position for now. Barracus drops back looking for a leg! ADW is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and ADW manages to kick Barracus off! Barracus jumps back into ADW's guard. ADW is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. ADW keeping moving, preventing Barracus from controlling successfully. Barracus thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. ADW working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Barracus.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. ADW throws a combination. Barracus tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like BA Barracus has been cut. Barracus is breathing heavily. ADW wants to clinch but Barracus slips to the side and Barracus decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in ADW's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Barracus gets to his feet. ADW looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! ADW has his takedown stuffed and Barracus counters with a single leg into guard. ADW didn't expect that. Barracus stopping the sweep attempt from ADW. Barracus drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and ADW dives on top into guard. Barracus keeping moving, preventing ADW from controlling successfully. ADW trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. ADW must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. ADW trying to control but Barracus is working from the bottom. ADW really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barracus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. ADW throwing strikes from guard but Barracus blocks nicely. Barracus trying to control the position.
Barracus preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Barracus is pulling down on ADW's head. It's preventing any offense from ADW, at least for the moment. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. ADW won't allow Barracus to sweep him here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. ADW scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
ADW stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. ADW fails with the takedown and Barracus counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for ADW!
That's three minutes gone in the round. ADW is looking to improve his position but Barracus isn't that keen on the idea. Barracus jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… ADW is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by ADW and Barracus has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
ADW wants to control but Barracus postures up. ADW wants to get back to his feet. Barracus is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. ADW knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. ADW is trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Barracus tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Barracus has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barracus gets to mount! ADW was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Barracus cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. ADW is wriggling around trying to escape.
ADW tries to hold on but Barracus postures up. Barracus takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rado ADW will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on BA Barracus's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Barracus shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so ADW counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. ADW wants to control from the top but Barracus keeps moving. Barracus is trying to control the position but ADW postures up. BA Barracus overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Barracus keeping moving, preventing ADW from controlling successfully. Barracus looking to hit a scissor sweep but ADW is one step ahead there. Barracus escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. ADW gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Barracus looking for a sweep. Not yet Barracus, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barracus looking for submissions from the bottom but instead ADW passes into half guard.
Barracus has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. ADW is working away from the top position though. ADW is looking to take a break and control but Barracus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. ADW perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. ADW not landing any meaningful shots this time. Barracus moves into full guard.
ADW wants to control from the top but Barracus keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Barracus working for a triangle but ADW defends it easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that BA Barracus will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on BA Barracus's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
ADW with a lazy takedown attempt and Barracus counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in ADW's guard now. Barracus thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. ADW trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Barracus trying to control but ADW is working from the bottom. ADW manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's one minute gone in the round. Barracus lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for ADW! Barracus trying to control but he's not successful this time. BOOM! Barracus connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Barracus is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Barracus is on top in guard.
Barracus passes ADW's left leg - he's now in half guard. ADW manages to escape and get back to his feet! Barracus shoots for a double leg takedown but ADW sprawls well. He's pushed Barracus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. ADW tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Barracus counters with a takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. ADW is trying to get back to half guard. ADW takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. ADW is trying to control Barracus's posture but Barracus avoids it. Barracus advances nicely into full mount. ADW is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
