Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bedros Aries (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russell Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aries's entrance music is Bodies. A fine choice. Aries is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bedros Aries! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Russell Bell! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aries displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Aries is breathing heavily. Aries wants to clinch. Bell throws a solid leg kick but Aries takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bell. Bell drives through and clinches with Aries against the cage.
Bell lands with a light punch inside. Aries throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Bell lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Bell gets through Aries's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Bell wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bell working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Aries throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Bell lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Bell holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Bell working some nice short punches in the clinch. Bell throws a knee to the head but misses.
Bell pressing his opponent against the cage. Aries looking for a takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bell lands a nice uppercut. Bell is trying to break free. Bell controlling the action here for a moment.
Bell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bell scores with a takedown into Aries's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bell cracks Aries with a solid left hand. Bell with a flurry of punches that miss. Bell pushing down on Aries's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Aries is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bell winds up and cracks Aries with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Bell is thwarting Aries's attempts to control the position. Bell is controlling the pace.
Aries tries to roll over but Bell keeps him under control. Bell is tying to control. Aries wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Aries trying to hold on to Bell's head to control him but Bell postures up.
Bell looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bell wants to clinch. A left and a right from Bell both land. Nice combination. Bell connects with a jab. Bell lands with an uppercut that bounces Aries off the cage and back into rage. Bell lands a jab to Aries's midsection. Bell cracks Aries with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Bell will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Bell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Aries swinging wilding here.
Bell waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Aries. Bell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Aries moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bell tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Aries circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Aries fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bell fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Nice uppercut there from Bell. Aries takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Aries is rocked! Aries takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Oh Aries is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bell clinches up with Aries and pushes him back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for Bell to work.
Bell lands with a left to the head. Bell works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Bell lands a big right hand! Aries is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Russell Bell!
