Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jongwoo Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jigaro Kano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kano has chosen the zepher song as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jongwoo Park!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jigaro Kano!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Park ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kano misses with a body kick.
Park shoots in for a takedown but Kano shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jigaro Kano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kano fails with the takedown.
Kano looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Kano thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Park is looking to control Kano's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Park avoid being mounted?

Kano sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Park's guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Kano throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Park throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kano's waist but Kano gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Park off to one side.

The fight stays on the outside here - Park looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kano tries to bum rush Park with a series of wild strikes but Park uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That was a close round but I would say that Jongwoo Park will probably get the nod.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

and Kano counters with a crisp one two that drops Park! Kano thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Park to his feet! Park is in big trouble!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kano accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Park working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kano doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kano manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jigaro Kano showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Park changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kano tries to avoid it but Park manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kano to the ground. Kano escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kano got a little sloppy there for a moment and Park has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kano has managed to get both his arms back between Park's legs - danger averted.

Park has his foot on Kano's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kano works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Park can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kano controls the pace.
Park is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kano defends well.

Kano looking to sit in guard and control but Park gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jigaro Kano comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Kano has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
