Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Krigare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rafael Barbosa will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krigare rushes Barbosa and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Barbosa misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Krigare.
Barbosa pulls Krigare into guard.
Krigare trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Barbosa manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Krigare is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Krigare might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Barbosa swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Krigare is now in Barbosa's guard. A big mistake from Barbosa there, giving up the dominant position!
Krigare is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Barbosa looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Krigare is fending him off so far but Barbosa persists. Nope, Krigare circles away and we're back to standing.
Krigare shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Barbosa manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Krigare connects with a nice short shot to Barbosa's temple.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Krigare counters with a three punch combo that has Barbosa backing up. Barbosa nods at Krigare to acknowledge the strikes.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Barbosa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Barbosa wants to pass the guard but Krigare is keeping the position.
Krigare working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Barbosa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Krigare is tightening it up a little... Barbosa has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Barbosa reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Barbosa taps out! nice BJJ there by Krigare!
