Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maxwell Kegele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Franchise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kegele comes to the cage accompanied by The Soulforged. Stevie Franchise is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Maxwell Kegele!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stevie Franchise!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kegele shoots in and drives through. Franchise sprawls well.
Kegele shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Franchise but Franchise pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Franchise keeps the fight on the outside.
Franchise throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kegele takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kegele slips a jab and a cross from Franchise.
Franchise throws a hook to the side of Kegele's head but Kegele sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kegele shoots in for a takedown but Franchise shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maxwell Kegele. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kegele instigates a clinch.
Franchise prevents a takedown attempt there.
Franchise leaning against his opponent.
Kegele tries a body shot but Franchise blocks it.
With the fighters up against the cage, Franchise throws an elbow but misses.

Kegele tightens his grip and picks Franchise up, before dumping him to the ground. Franchise manages to land in guard.
Franchise is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kegele postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Franchise working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kegele.
Kegele slips nicely into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Franchise is staying active underneath Kegele, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Franchise keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Franchise gets back to full guard.
Kegele being controlled here momentarily.
Franchise trying to keep a closed guard but Kegele is proving a slippery customer.
Kegele throwing strikes but missing.
Kegele stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Franchise swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Franchise is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kegele is aware though and is defending well.

Kegele has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Franchise to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kegele is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Franchise pulls down on the head and he's put Kegele to sleep! This one is all over!
