Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Esko Morko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sung Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morko comes to the cage accompanied by Arch Enemy - Nemesis. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Esko Morko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sung Kim! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morko tests Kim's chin there with a solid looking shot. Kim throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kim avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kim misses with a low kick. Morko's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Morko duly obliges.
It looks like Sung Kim has been cut. Morko stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Morko wants it to stay on the feet. Kim throws a solid leg kick but Morko takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kim. Morko tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Esko Morko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Morko is looking to clinch but Kim is avoiding it.

Morko shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Morko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morko tries to clinch but Kim is having none of it. Morko closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kim did well to prevent Morko getting side control. Morko is trying to control the action in half guard but Kim is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Morko is thwarting Kim's attempts to control the position. Kim tries to kick Morko off in order to stand up. Morko Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Kim gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Morko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kim does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Morko is working for a submission of some sort.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Morko pulls his head out easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morko lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Morko is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Morko tries to clinch up but Kim circles away and keeps his distance. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Morko.
Kim is looking to chop away at Morko's legs. Morko throws a body kick that misses. Kim avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Morko fails with an attempt to clinch.

Morko tries to clinch but Kim moves out of range. Morko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kim swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kim shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Morko counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kim! Morko thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Morko throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Morko is in the full mount, landing strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Esko Morko dominated that round. The cut man is working on Sung Kim's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Morko misses with a combination
enabling Kim to counter with a crisp jab. Kim misses with a takedown and Morko counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Morko. Kim breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kim pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Morko looks to clinch and Kim counters with a good, hard body kick but Morko shrugs it off. Morko tries to clinch but fails miserably and Kim counters with a left and a right that stings Morko. A good leg kick by Morko. Morko tries to clinch but Kim moves away and Kim counters with a big head kick but Morko shrugs it off. Morko darts in and clinches Kim up against the cage. Morko scores with a nice hook to the head.

Morko breaks the clinch.
Kim circles away from the clinch attempt and Kim counters with a nice low kick that buckles Morko's knee momentarily. Morko wants to clinch and Kim counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kim gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. and Morko counters by clinching up. Morko gets control of Kim's arms and successfully pulls guard. Morko will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Kim pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Morko is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morko is pulling down on Kim's head. It's preventing any offense from Kim, at least for the moment. Morko looking for a sweep. Not yet Morko, not yet. Morko utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kim trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morko is pulling down on Kim's head. It's preventing any offense from Kim, at least for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morko is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kim is controlling him. Morko has his hands on Kim's head, controlling the position. Morko keeping moving, preventing Kim from controlling successfully. Morko managing to control the position. Kim with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Morko is pulling down on Kim's head. It's preventing any offense from Kim, at least for the moment. Kim wants to stand but Morko is controlling his posture from full guard. Morko has an active guard here but Kim has managed to pass into half guard.
Morko is looking to control Kim's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Morko avoid being mounted? Kim thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Esko Morko will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Sung Kim's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Morko shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Morko was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kim wants to try and get back to his feet. Morko working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Morko moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kim has worked his arm free - good work by Kim!
Kim is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Morko is controlling him well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morko cracks Kim with a big elbow. Morko wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kim, who protects the arm well. Morko working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Morko in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Morko stands up and we're back to a striking position. Horrible takedown by Morko or perhaps it was just good defense by Kim which made him look bad. Kim lands a jab-cross combination. Esko Morko is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Morko wants to clinch. A low kick from Kim misses and Morko counters with a takedown into side control. Morko stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Morko swivels and escapes. Kim takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Morko tries to clinch up. Kim throws a shot from downtown. Morko moves away and avoids it. Kim attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Morko moves in looking to clinch but Kim pushes him off. Kim fails to land the takedown. Esko Morko is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Morko scores with a takedown into Kim's guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Morko's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morko's corner is telling him to maintain position. Sung Kim has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Morko has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Kim is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Morko defends well.
And that's the end of the fight! Esko Morko showed his dominance in that final round. Well Morko has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
