Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Wiet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Pritchett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wiet comes into the arena with Mia - Paper Planes blaring out of the sound system. Dave Pritchett has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Wiet! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Pritchett! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Wiet looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Wiet tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pritchett swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pritchett misses with a takedown attempt - Wiet sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Pritchett shoots for a takedown but Wiet saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Wiet moves into the clinch. Pritchett stalling.
Pritchett decides to pull guard. Wiet tries to stand but Pritchett is controlling from the bottom. Pritchett bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wiet's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wiet wants to stand up but Pritchett is controlling him. Pritchett pushing down on Wiet's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Pritchett takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Pritchett wants to work for an arm triangle but Wiet is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Wiet is trying to stand up here but Pritchett is controlling him well. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pritchett in particular looking to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wiet is trying to stand.
Pritchett is taking a breather. Wiet says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Pritchett moves into full mount! Wiet won't be happy about that! Pritchett tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Wiet is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pritchett content just to control the position here.
Despite being in the dominant position, Dave Pritchett just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wiet moves in looking to clinch but Pritchett pushes him off. Wiet throws a head kick that misses. Pritchett shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wiet as he jumps to the side. Mike Wiet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Pritchett.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Pritchett shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wiet pinned against the cage. Wiet gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Wiet tries to clinch but Pritchett moves out of range. Wiet closes the distance and clinches. Pritchett throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Wiets head. Wiet has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Pritchett has a couple of punches blocked by Wiet.
A short body shot lands from Pritchett as the two fighters clinch.
Wiet tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Pritchett doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Wiet with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Wiet tries to land a knee to the head but Pritchett blocks with his arms.
Pritchett goes for a takedown in the clinch but Wiet prevents it.
Pritchett decides to pull guard. Pritchett wants to improve his position but instead Wiet has moved into half guard.
Pritchett looks gassed! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wiet tries to stand and escape but Pritchett actually recovers to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Pritchett dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Pritchett moves into the clinch. A knee to the head by Wiet.
Pritchett successfully pulls guard.
Pritchett seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Wiet would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pritchett is pulling down on Wiet's head. It's preventing any offense from Wiet, at least for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pritchett has a closed guard, preventing Wiet from standing up. Pritchett is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Wiet trying to stand up but can't free himself from Pritchett's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Pritchett has Wiet pulled in close to control his posture. Pritchett manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wiet manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pritchett's corner is telling him to maintain position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wiet can't keep his opponent in guard - Pritchett advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Well, if Pritchett is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Pritchett stops Wiet from getting back to his feet.
Pritchett is looking to advance position but Wiet won't allow it. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pritchett in particular looking to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pritchett trying to mount his opponent but Wiet defends it. Pritchett sitting and controlling from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Pritchett showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Wiet fails with an attempt to clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pritchett is defended easily by Wiet. Wiet tries to clinch up but Pritchett circles away and keeps his distance. Nice sprawl there from Wiet as Pritchett shoots in. Wiet tries to clinch up and Pritchett counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Pritchett. Wiet blocking some punches.
Wiet utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Wiet with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Pritchett has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wiet is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Mike Wiet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Pritchett. Wiet breaks from the clinch.
Wiet tries to clinch up but Pritchett circles away and keeps his distance. Pritchett shoots for a takedown but Wiet saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Pritchett takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Wiet displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pritchett. Wiet is looking to clinch but Pritchett is avoiding it.
Mike Wiet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pritchett tries to keep at a distance but Wiet has taken the fight into the clinch. Wiet connects with a knee to the head.

Wiet lands a good knee to the midsection. Pritchett won't want to take too many of those. Pritchett misses with the head strike.

Pritchett throws a punch but it's blocked by Wiet. A nice left hand lands by Wiet.
Nice elbow from Wiet. Pritchett tries to pull guard but Wiet holds him up against the cage and eventually Pritchett drops back down to his feet.

Wiet throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Pritchett blocks it with crossed arms. Wiet scores a nice knee to the body.

Mike Wiet is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pritchett is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wiet's half guard. Pritchett trying to control the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pritchett thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wiet's head. Pritchett stops Wiet from getting back to his feet.

Pritchett looking to pass the guard. Pritchett trying to control the position from guard on top but Wiet is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pritchett not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Pritchett stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wiet swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wiet wants to get back to his feet but Pritchett is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Pritchett throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wiet works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wiet clinches with his opponent.
Pritchett goes for a takedown attempt but Wiet pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Wiet. I think Pritchett has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
