Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kennedy Embers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and renzo Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kennedy Embers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, renzo Hughes!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Embers throws out a powerful jab.
Hughes tries to score a power double leg takedown but Embers sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hughes somewhat.
Hughes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Hughes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hughes prevents Embers from getting back to his feet.
Hughes tries to free his leg and advance position but Embers is retaining full guard.
Hughes thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hughes throws a big right hand that misses.
Hughes drops back looking for a leg! Embers is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Embers manages to kick Hughes off! Hughes jumps back into Embers's guard.
Hughes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Embers swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Embers keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hughes moves in looking to clinch but Embers pushes him off.
Embers dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Embers moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Hughes scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Hughes swings around for an armbar but Embers sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Hughes's guard.
Hughes looks gassed!
Hughes is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hughes looking for a guillotine here but Embers defends easily.
Embers stands up and waves to Hughes to follow him.
Hughes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Embers circles away.
Kennedy Embers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of renzo Hughes.
Hughes shoots for a takedown but Embers saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Embers with a body punch. A glancing blow.
A punch combination from Embers misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Embers lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Hughes slips under a jab.
Hughes shoots in and drives through. Embers sprawls well.
Hughes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hughes moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Embers connects with a looping right hand.
Hughes shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Hughes is rocked!
Embers connects with a nice cross there... Hughes is looking wobbly and Embers recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Hughes to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Embers jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kennedy Embers!
