Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stu Grimson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and faisal ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, faisal ali!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimson tries to clinch up but ali circles away and keeps his distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
The fighters circling - ali throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Grimson tries to close the distance and clinch but ali swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Grimson shoots in and drives through. ali sprawls well.

Grimson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Grimson drops back, looking for a kneebar! ali looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. ali looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from ali!

ali is looking to take a break and control but Grimson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Grimson tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

Horrible takedown by Grimson or perhaps it was just good defense by ali which made him look bad.

Grimson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. ali stacks Grimson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by ali!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Grimson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
