The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
one fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silva sprawls well initially but one persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
one wants to free his trapped foot but Silva is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. one tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag one to the ground. one escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

one shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Silva counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. one is lucky that one didn't land flush.

numba one is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
one wants to clinch but Silva slips to the side
and Silva counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Silva tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and one is able to avoid easily.
one is looking to slow Silva down with leg kicks.
Silva fakes high and swings low for a body shot but one manages to avoid it.
one bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Silva's head backwards.
Silva throws a sloppy head kick and one moves out of range easily.
one tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by one.
one scores with a one two! Silva had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to numba one.
