Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Diogo Rubin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Martin Skrtel! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rubin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Skrtel tries to close the distance and clinch but Rubin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rubin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rubin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Skrtel sprawls well. Skrtel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rubin gets slowly back to his feet. Skrtel tries to clinch up. Skrtel receives a warning from the referee for stalling. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Martin Skrtel. Rubin throws a big shot that misses. Rubin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Skrtel as he jumps to the side. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Skrtel moves into the clinch successfully.
Rubin has Skrtel pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Skrtel manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Skrtel is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Diogo Rubin dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Skrtel is squirming around, avoiding Rubin's attempts to control the action. Rubin working for a guillotine from mount but Skrtel is in no mood to give up. Rubin wants to finish this one by submission but Skrtel is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Rubin. Skrtel is trying to stand. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rubin wants to control the pace but Skrtel is squirming around nicely. Skrtel is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Rubin has taken his back! Rubin trying to control momentarily.

Rubin has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Skrtel has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Rubin has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Skrtel controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Skrtel is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Skrtel is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. I would not like to be Skrtel right now.

Skrtel looks to clinch and Rubin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Skrtel! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rubin is working for a guillotine from mount but Skrtel frees his head quite easily.
