Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roger Motabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nils Dacke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Motabe dodges the punch combination from Dacke.
Motabe shoots in but Dacke avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Motabe.
Roger Motabe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dacke has a takedown stuffed.
Dacke looks to land a combination but Motabe avoids it well.
Motabe shoots in for a takedown but Dacke shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Motabe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dacke avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Dacke counters by clinching up.
Dacke tries to score a body lock takedown but Motabe shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Dacke has hold of one of Motabe's legs. Motabe is fighting the takedown attempt but Dacke gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Dacke is fighting to break Motabe's control of his arms but Motabe is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dacke throws and elbow that misses. Motabe uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dacke's guard. Nice move by Motabe!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Motabe thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Dacke is trying to buck Motabe off.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

A close round but Nils Dacke will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Dacke walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Dacke closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Motabe is trying to get back to full guard.
Motabe is working hard here to advance position.
Dacke passes into side control, despite Motabe's attempt to control the position.
Motabe tries to escape but Dacke is in control.
Dacke decides to stand back up.
Motabe shoots and misses
and Dacke counters with a shoot takedown. Motabe fights it but they end up in guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Motabe wants to sweep but no luck.

Dacke avoids the attempt from Motabe to control.
Dacke fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Dacke wants to control the pace but Motabe is squirming around nicely.
Motabe tries to hold on but Dacke pushes him away.
Dacke manages to capitalize on a mistake by Motabe to take his back!
Dacke is looking for the choke from the back position but Motabe is controlling his hands well.
Motabe manages to reverse the position and now he's in Dacke's guard. Nice work there by Motabe.
Dacke wants to get back to his feet but Motabe is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Motabe trying to control but Dacke is working from the bottom.

Nils Dacke showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

and Dacke counters with a shoot takedown. Motabe fights it but they end up in guard.

Dacke stands up and waves to Motabe to follow him.

Motabe misses with a hook. Dacke ducked under it nicely.

and Motabe counters with a takedown into side control.
Motabe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dacke keeps working.
Motabe controls the position.
Motabe works to advance to full mount. Dacke defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Motabe pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Motabe tries to control but Dacke wriggling away.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Roger Motabe just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

and Dacke holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Dacke pulls guard effortlessly.
Motabe controls from within his opponent's guard.
Dacke controls Motabe momentarily but Motabe frees himself.

Motabe works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Motabe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dacke keeps working.
Dacke wants to sweep but Motabe has passed to side control!
Dacke is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Motabe is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Dacke is squirming around, avoiding Motabe's attempts to control the action.
Dacke is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Motabe cracks Dacke with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Nils Dacke is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Motabe has hold of Dacke's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dacke manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Motabe can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dacke is looking to escape.
Dacke is trying desperately to improve position.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Roger Motabe.
I think Dacke has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
