Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Bisping!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Beer!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beer fakes the leg kick and cracks Bisping in the body.
Beer looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Beer takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Beer throws a body punch but Bisping moves out of range.
Bisping pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Beer wants to clinch up but Bisping keeps it at a distance.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Bisping.
Bisping lands a nice forearm strike.

Bisping looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Bisping stands up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bisping misses with a jab, cross combination.
A lazy body kick from Bisping

so Beer counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Bisping is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bisping is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bisping is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Beer is trying to maintain the position but Bisping is very close to passing his half guard.

Bisping is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Beer doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bisping.

Bisping is trying to work for a kimura but Beer is defending well.
Beer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Beer tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bisping looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bisping takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Michael Bisping dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Bisping lands a glancing blow to the side of Beer's head.
Bisping throws a right and a left that Beer avoids nicely.
Bisping shoots in for a takedown but Beer shows good takedown defense.
Beer slips a jab and a cross from Bisping.
Bisping with a hook.
Bisping tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Beer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bisping scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Beer clinches up against the cage.
Beer has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bisping is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Bisping working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Bisping has had enough of the clinch but Beer keeps him there for the moment.
Beer is breathing heavily.
Bisping tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Beer smiles and moves away.

Bisping bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Beer is looking for a sweep.

Bisping wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Beer, who protects the arm well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Bisping working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Bisping slows the pace down.

Bisping looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Bisping wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Beer, who protects the arm well.

Bisping is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Beer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Bisping has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Beer is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Bisping yanks on the arm and Beer is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Bisping.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Michael Bisping!
