The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Asher scores with a three punch combo!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nogueira.
Asher tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Asher shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Nogueira decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Asher's guard.
Nogueira slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nogueira goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Asher has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Nogueira but great work by Asher.
Nogueira wants to control but Asher postures up.
Asher wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nogueira, who protects the arm well.
Nogueira gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Asher is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nogueira is just riding it out for now. Asher eventually gives up the hold.
Nogueira has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Asher. Oh but Nogueira has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Asher goes limp - he's gone! Nogueira jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
