Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abner Pirolla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caio Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pirolla comes to the cage accompanied by Duality. Rodrigues has chosen I'm Back as his entrance music. Abner Pirolla could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Caio Rodrigues's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rodrigues fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pirolla, pushing him back against the cage.
Pirolla wants a takedown.
Pirolla goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rodrigues prevents it.
Pirolla is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rodrigues pulls him back up using the underhooks.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rodrigues accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Rodrigues is working Pirolla over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Pirolla takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Rodrigues tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pirolla swats him away and circles back towards the center.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Pirolla. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Pirolla is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rodrigues is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rodrigues has escaped and now he's on top!

Well Rodrigues has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
