PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arcturus Atreyu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kha Ri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Atreyu might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lamb Of God - Walk With Me In Hell. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atreyu walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Good shot there by Ri.
A left and a right from Ri both land. Nice combination.
Kha Ri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Atreyu does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ri lands a nice shot to the body.
Ri dips to his left and cracks Atreyu with an uppercut!
Ri scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Atreyu tries to clinch but Ri is having none of it.
Atreyu walks into a stiff left hand from Ri.
Atreyu fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ri scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Ri scores with a hook.
Ri throws a right hand that Atreyu ducks under and follows up with a left that Atreyu also avoids with ease.
Atreyu throws a sloppy head kick and Ri moves out of range easily.
Ri dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Atreyu takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Ri lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ri.
Atreyu wants to clinch up but Ri keeps it at a distance.

Ri lands a nice shot that snaps Atreyu's head back.

Ri is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round!Atreyu had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Atreyu fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ri slaps away a takedown attempt from Atreyu, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arcturus Atreyu. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Atreyu takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Ri cracks Atreyu with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Ri sizes up Atreyu with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Atreyu drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Ri throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ri lands the left hand.
Atreyu takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ri's corner calls for a 1-2. Ri obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Ri digs a good body shot into Atreyu's ribs.

Atreyu has a takedown stuffed.
Ri fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Atreyu has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Ri lands a two punch combo.

Atreyu is rocked!

Oh Atreyu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ri connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Atreyu out cold! This one is over in a flash!
