The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Good leg kick by Powers there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Powers stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Powers wants it to stay on the feet.
Lawrence Powers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruno Alexandre.
Powers shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Alexandre napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Powers is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Alexandre has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Powers is looking to defend but Alexandre has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Powers! Alexandre pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Powers taps out and this one is all over!
