The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wasabi wants to clinch.
Wasabi fails in his attempt to clinch.
Wasabi is looking to clinch but Braddock is avoiding it.
Braddock forces Wasabi back against the ropes and clinches.
Wasabi throws an elbow that misses.
Wasabi tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Wasabi blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Wasabi breaks from the clinch.
Braddock swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Braddock counters with a straight right hand.
Wasabi tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Braddock counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Wasabi looks gassed!
Wasabi closes the distance looking to clinch
and Braddock counters with a left to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Braddock lands a left and a right that sends Wasabi crashing to the canvas! Braddock dives into mount looking to finish!
Wasabi is rocked!
Braddock controlling the pace for now.
Wasabi is still in real trouble! Can Braddock finish him?

Braddock looking to control but Wasabi is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Wasabi seems to have recovered his senses.

Braddock can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wasabi is looking to escape.
Wasabi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Braddock. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee stands the fighters back up. James Braddock just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

and Braddock holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Wasabi's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Braddock thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Wasabi if he has to take too many more of those.

Braddock throws a sloppy head kick and Wasabi moves out of range easily.

Lucky Wasabi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Braddock throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wasabi on the side of the head.

Wasabi tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Wasabi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lucky Wasabi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Braddock throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wasabi on the side of the head.

A big right followed by a crushing left from Braddock knocks Wasabi out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
