Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fredo Corleone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raymond Duvernay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corleone comes to the cage accompanied by The Godfather Waltz. Raymond Duvernay is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fredo Corleone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raymond Duvernay!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duvernay throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Nice takedown defense from Duvernay. No joy for Corleone on that attempt.
Duvernay throws a head kick but Corleone moves out of range.
Duvernay fails with an attempt to clinch.
Corleone throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Duvernay's waist but Duvernay gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Corleone off to one side.
Corleone is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Duvernay tries to clinch but Corleone moves away
and Corleone counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Duvernay's guard now.
Corleone is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Duvernay is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Duvernay has escaped and now he's on top!
Corleone wants to sweep here but Duvernay controlling him for the moment.

Corleone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Duvernay gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Duvernay really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Corleone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Duvernay trying to control but Corleone is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Duvernay got a little sloppy there for a moment and Corleone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Duvernay has managed to get both his arms back between Corleone's legs - danger averted.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Duvernay would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Corleone looking for a guillotine here but Duvernay defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fredo Corleone dominated that round.
That's time! Corleone's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Duvernay tries to clinch but Corleone moves away
and Corleone decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Duvernay's guard.
Corleone stands and steps away. Duvernay gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Duvernay fails with the takedown
and Corleone counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Corleone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Duvernay is keeping the position for now.
Corleone postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Duvernay is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Corleone, into his guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Duvernay might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Corleone kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Duvernay content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Corleone has locked up a guillotine! Corleone's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Duvernay is holding on here and Corleone must be using up a lot of energy. Duvernay has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Corleone gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
