Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mari Ore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Evans looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Evans controlling the pace.
Ore trying to control here.
Evans is taking a breather. Ore says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Evans will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Evans works his way into side control.
Ore is being controlled here.
Check out the look on Evans's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Evans tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Evans throws a strike aimed at the side of Ore's head but Ore avoids it well.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Ore is looking for a sweep.
Evans controls the position from side control.
Ore is working to avoid the ground and pound but Evans connects with a decent elbow.

Evans content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Evans really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Evans is working Ore over with some ground and pound from side control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
A lull in the action here.
Ore is looking to regain half guard here but Evans keeps moving and retains side control.
Ore takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Evans tries to score with some ground and pound. Ore controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Evans has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ore can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
