Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stian Ask (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nogueira's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, No limit - 2UNLIMITED. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira shoots in looking for a takedown. Ask tries to sprawl out of it but Nogueira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Ask manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ask should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Ask moves into the clinch successfully.
Ask successfully pulls guard.
Ask really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nogueira. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nogueira avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Ask pulls Nogueira in close to his closed guard and prevents Nogueira from doing any damage or advancing position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ask had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Nogueira is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ask Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Nogueira's back instead.
Ask is looking for a rear naked choke here but Nogueira reverses the position brilliantly into Ask's guard!

Nogueira bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ask's guard.
Ask escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nogueira gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ask working for submissions but it's allowed Nogueira to get to half guard.
Nogueira is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Nogueira tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ask knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

That was a close second round but I would say that Antonio Nogueira will probably get the nod.

and Ask counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Ask is pushing down on Nogueira's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nogueira is fighting to maintain full guard but Ask has managed to sneak the leg through.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ask has eaten all the pies!
Ask bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Ask controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Nogueira can't keep his opponent in guard - Ask advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
It looks like Ask is going to stand back up.
Ask is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Ask is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Ask passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Nogueira!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ask content just to control the position here.
Nogueira is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ask goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Nogueira is on top in guard.
Nogueira pushes down on Ask's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Ask has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nogueira is working away from the top position though.

Stian Ask comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ask has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
